Type: Abomination

Threat: Moderate

What the Spewer Is

Wall-climbing flesh heaps that hurl mucus from vantage points no melee weapon can answer. Spewers turn vertical space into enemy territory: they cling to walls and archways above the fight and lob projectiles while their allies hold your attention at ground level. The counter is built into their anatomy — the mucus formation is a shootable weak point.

How to Fight Them

Shoot the formation. A firearm hit to the mucus mid-buildup both interrupts the attack and staggers the Spewer off the wall — community-tested and the fastest answer by a wide margin. The Blunderbuss trades spread for forgiveness at close-mid range; the pistol is the precision pick when the Spewer is high up. Once it drops to the ground it is a slow, soft target: one posture break ends it.

Listen for the wet buildup sound — the Spewer telegraphs its shot before it aims. That audio cue is your window to look up and shoot, not to keep combo-ing the Infantry below.

Why They Matter

Spewers are the game's recurring lesson that the camera is a weapon: fights in Valor Mortis are fought on the ground and on the walls, and the player who ignores vertical space loses the Spewer war every time.
